Sociology at Sexey's School

Course description

This will be a new subject for most students. Sociology studies the way poeple behave and the way social groupings can affect their behavior. Sociology will allow you to step back from your own interpretation of the world and develop an insight and understanding of the society in which we live and the interactions between individuals and society. Students are encouraged to develop their own sociological awareness through an active engagement with the contemarary world. At the end of this course, students will hopefully ask questions like "why did this happen"? "how did this happen"? and "for who's benefit did this happen"?
