Maths GCSE at Walsall College

Course description

GCSE Maths is suitable for anyone wishing to up skill prior to enrolment to a higher level programme or for progression within the labour market. This qualification in Mathematics encourages students to develop confidence in, and a positive attitude towards, mathematics and to recognise the importance of mathematics in their own lives and to society.

This qualification prepares students to make informed decisions about the use of technology, the management of money, further learning opportunities and career choices.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs at Grades D to G (including a curriculum-related subject). Or successful completion of Level 1 related qualification.

Assessment

The course is assessed by an external exam at the end of the course.
