Media Studies OCR Nationals Level 2 at Charles Darwin School

Course description

The Nationals course involves a range of different media areas including photography, video, audio and print (such as magazines). During the course you work through six lengthy coursework units. Each unit includes research and analysis of existing media products, institutions and audiences, followed by a practical piece you need to then present and review. It is worth 4 A-C grades at GCSE.

Further information

One unit is purely analytical asking you to compare two different kinds of media product (Unit 1). One unit is purely practical (Unit 3).
