Health and Social Care Level 2 at Craven College

Course description

If you love caring for people, making them feel their best and want to explore the underpinning knowledge of health & social care, this Level 2 Diploma could be for you.

This course gives you a comprehensive introduction to health and social care which will enable you to progress to Level 3 courses and employment in the industry.
Our tutors have a wide range of health and social care experience ranging from managing residential homes and homecare services for people with learning difficulties to being a Ward Sister, to working in nurseries, primary schools, secondary and special schools through to social services. Their backgrounds mean that they have a wealth of experience on which to base their teaching and your learning. They also have many well established contacts within the industry which is good in terms of work experience opportunities and excellent guest speakers.

Entry requirements

  • 4 GCSEs 9-3 (A*-D) or Working in the Care Sector Level 1 including English & maths GCSEs 9-2 (A*-E)
  • Clear (DBS) Disclosure & Barring Service check
