French A Level at Chilwell School

Course description

Fluency in a foreign language is a real asset that relatively few people possess, so get ahead of the crowd and learn a skill that will enable you to take your place on the European stage. At Chilwell Sixth Form we have up-to-date resources that will turn you into a confident user of modern languages. If GCSE taught you how to survive as a tourist, then AS and A Level will enable you to work with confidence, using your languages in a professional and social context.

French is one of Europe’s most important languages; indeed it is one of the official languages of the European Union. If you are looking for an international dimension to your future career then French could be for you.
