English Literature - GCSE at Grange Technology College
This GCSE is a comprehensive programme of study of literature. This includes prose, poetry and drama, and classic as well as recent works.
You will learn how to read literature within a critical framework, and how to express and develop your own thoughts and ideas about what you have read.
A combination of examinations and Controlled Assessments.
A GCSE in English Literature shows evidence of critical thinking, independent learning and application, and therefore a desirable qualification for employers and Further Education providers.
This course must be studied alongside GCSE English Language.
