Course content

Sixth Formers are provided with the opportunity to pursue their interests in another modern language - for enjoyment, for practical use and to help them develop a wider understanding of language structure and use.
ITALIAN - Students can attend a beginners' course in Italian. This provides a basic introduction to the spoken language, using a topic based approach similar to that used for GCSE.

NB. It is not intended that the Italian course should lead to public examination.

Entry requirements

Beginners Italian is an additional course offered within our Extension Programme. Therefore, students wishing to study this subject do not need to apply through "ichoosewirral" but will have an opportunity to opt for it once they have enrolled at West Kirby Grammar School.
