Course description

This course is ideal for anyone who is interested in a career in the motorcycle maintenance and repair industry. The course caters for much hands-on experience as well as providing the required theoretical knowledge which is both stimulating and rewarding. You will follow a one year study programme where you will learn about all aspects of motorcycle repair and maintenance. In addition, you will continue to develop your English and Maths skills, both of which are essential for working in the industry. You will study: - Introduction to the retail automotive maintenance and repair industry - Motorcycle construction - Routine maintenance motorcycle chassis systems - Motorcycle engines - Motorcycle transmission systems - Motorcycle electrical and electronic systems - Motorcycle fuel, ignition, air and exhaust system units and components - Introduction to low carbon technologies in the automotive industry
