Business Studies- Level 3 at Wimbledon College
Students develop their understanding of business through completing 12 units of work over two years. Each unit looks at a different aspect of business and in most cases is linked to the study of a real business organisation. Some areas covered include Business Planning, Marketing, Finance and Customer Service.
To follow the advanced Level 3 route you must have 5 or more GCSEs at Grade C or above. You just have Grade B in the AS level subject options you wish to study or Grade C in applied subject options.
You could take this course with other advanced level courses such as Accounting to prepare for higher education in areas of business studies, marketing, accounting, finance, human resources or more general higher education courses. With further training, you could go into a job related to business studies, marketing, finance and accounting, human resources and public relations. You could also look at doing a trainee management course within a company to gain the skills, understanding and experience that they require so you can work at management level.
