Foundation Learning: NOCN Level 1 Diploma in Progression at Leicestershire County Council Youth Service

Course description

You will be part of a small friendly group, with friendly staff and as part of the Youth Service, access to lots of extra groups and support! Great for confidence building and self esteem. You will work in a group and also 1:1 to learn about relevant topics, depending on your personal needs. Work is practical and interesting, using a wide range of techniques and resources. You will learn communication skills and team work, skills for work, job/college progression routes and prepare your work portfolio. You will also have options to sit a range of personal development and independent living modules, such as cooking, sex & relationships, body image, budgeting, sport and many more........................

Financial information

No Cost. Still eligible for Child benefit/ tax credits.

Further information

By gaining your L1 Diploma and Functional Skills, you will be eligible to progress onto L2 opportunities, either at College or on an apprenticeship. You will also be much more prepared for getting on well in your personal life and confident around other people.
