Reserve IB Film Studies at King Ethelbert School
In IB Film Studies you will find a strong emphasis upon practical productions and creativity. The course is divided into 3 areas of study:
1. Textual analysis
2. Film theory & history
3. Creative process
You will: - make your own film productions - analyse film and film sequences - study film history - study film making theories with a focus upon films from different countries - develop creative, analytical and production skills
A minimum of 5 A*-C including English & mathematics
Students who do well at the IBCC are well placed to move into the world of work, Higher or Further education. They will have the qualifications, skills and qualities that are valued by employers in all sectors.
