Mathematics is a subject which we all need in order to conduct our everyday lives, for example for checking pay slips, determining how many rolls of wallpaper are needed to re-decorate the hall, or just when going shopping. In addition to its importance in our everyday lives, career progression and job opportunities can be dependent on your having a sound grasp of mathematics. Successful completion of this course will enable you to proceed to those Further and Higher Education courses where a GCSE Mathematics qualification may be a pre-requisite.
