Course description

WHY COMPUTING?

Computing is about understanding how computer systems actually work. Computers pervade every aspect of modern life.  The microprocessor which lies at the heart of every computing system is found absolutely everywhere, from the PC on your desk to laptops, PDAs, mobile phones, cars and microwave ovens.  At the end of the course you will have an excellent understanding of how it all works.

Entry requirements

SPECIFIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Students must achieve a minimum of  4 Grade A* - C plus English Language and Mathematics at grade 4
  • Grade 7 in Mathematics
