Course description

On the Electrical Installation course you will study wiring and terminals, fabrication techniques, and electrical science and technology.

Course content

Units include: • Structure of the construction industry • Environmental and sustainability measures in domestic dwellings • Site preparation in the construction industry

Entry requirements

• No experience or qualifications are required although every applicant will attend an interview. . Places are limited and it is advisable to apply as early as possible • We will apply for a reference from a recent school another college or work place and this reference must be satisfactory • If you do not have a grade C in GCSE English Language and maths you will be required to be working towards achieving this alongside your course

Future opportunities

Further study - Level 2 construction courses, Apprenticeship, or NVQ in the workplace • Employment in the construction industry
