Plumbing Level 2 Diploma at East Surrey College

Course description

This course covers all elements of practical work including general safety and theory. Topics include general safety, cold and hot water, central heating, sanitation, maintenance, working relationships and quality development.

 Electrical principals
 Scientific principles within building services
 Common plumbing principals
 Hot water
 Cold water
 Central heating
 Sanitation
 

Entry requirements

Minimum four GCSEs Grade A -C including Maths and English or Plumbing Diploma Level 1.

Assessment

Online tests and a portfolio of evidence.

Financial information

If you are under 19 on 31/08/2016, tuition is free. If you are 19 or over please consult Client Services for advice and guidance on funding and eligibility.
 
Please be aware that there may be additional costs for equipment and educational visits. This information will be available from the curriculum staff at interview.

Full-time Level 3 Diploma or an apprenticeship.

To meet health and safety requirements within our realistic work environment, learners must provide steel toe-capped boots/safety shoes and must wear suitable clothing.
