Further Mathematics A Level at Accrington St Christopher's Church of England High School

Course description

Further Mathematics is an AS/A-level qualification which both broadens and deepens the mathematics covered in AS/A-level Maths. Any student who know that they want to study for a degree in a maths rich subject such as engineering, sciences, computing, finance or economics should seriously consider Further Maths.

Statistics 2 / Mechanics 3
Decision 2
A further applied unit (either Statistics 1 or Decision 1) dependent on the applied unit studied for AS Mathematics.
By the end of the A-level you will have covered all of the applied units, covering all the options required for maths-related degree courses. 

Entry requirements

To study Further Mathematics you need to have obtained at least a grade A at GCSE.
