Child Care and Education CACHE Level 3 Diploma at Monks' Dyke Tennyson College
This qualification is a two-year, full-time qualification which is designed to build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children. This centre focuses on the early learning and child care pathway. There are a number of optional and mandatory
units including: promoting communication in children’s settings; principles for implementing duty of care; understanding child development; and safe-guarding.
Throughout the course, the units assess, build upon and develop the higher level of skills required to study effectively and successfully in higher education. This makes the coursesuitable for those who might like to go on to study for a degree in a related discipline.
The course is suitable for students seeking employment within nurseries, children’s centres, home-based child care, private day care, preschool or schools and various child care posts within Social Services and Health Authorities.
