BTEC Level 3 Travel & Tourism at St John Bosco Arts College

Course description

The BTEC Travel and Tourism Nationals are Level 3 qualifications designed to provide highly specialist work-related qualifications. The course offers a practical approach that can be lacking in more traditional routes by applying learning to real-life situations. Students have to undertake a number of units for which they present evidence, based on actual work and studies. This allows them to demonstrate their skill and knowledge.

The travel and tourism specification taught in sixth form is designed to provide an all-round introduction to the travel and tourism sector for those who wish to further their careers in one of its many connected industries, including retail travel, visitor attractions, accommodation, transport and tour operations.
