Course description

Introduction and Structure:

Having a language at AS or A level will certainly improve your employability, in particular with companies which have international branches. Many students who have studied German at A Level pursue careers ranging from Tourism and Hospitality through to Science and Research where German is the second most commonly used scientific language! Of course, there is also the opportunity to work or study in Germany

Entry requirements

Standard entry requirement for entry onto A level programmes of study is 6 GCSE’s at grade C or above. . We require you to have at least a grade C in English and Maths at GCSE level. You will need to have a GCSE grade B in German.
