This apprenticeship provides the skills and knowledge needed to support doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and healthcare scientists when they provide healthcare.
Responsibilities such as:
- supervising junior teams members
- taking physiological measurements
- carrying out more complex clinical procedures (eg wound care)
Each Apprenticeship Framework includes its own specific qualifications for the role and area of business that you work in, but all Apprenticeship Frameworks include Functional Skills in English and Maths and Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
