Course description

You will study units including: • Working in the hair industry • Health & safety • Client consultation • Shampoo & conditioning the hair • The art of hairdressing • Cutting men's hair • Cutting women's and colouring hair • Promoting products and services to clients You will need to purchase a uniform and a hairdressing kit.

Entry requirements

• Level 1 Hairdressing or equivalent • If you do not have a grade C in GCSE English Language and maths you will be required to be working towards achieving this alongside your course

Future opportunities

• Further education - Depending on skill level, attendance and success you will be invited to progress to various courses such as Level 2 Barbering, an Apprenticeship or Level 3 full-time Hairdressing
