Course description

The apprenticeship is suited to young people who are keen to build a career in the motor vehicle industry.

Course content

The Apprentice will complete a Vocational Competence Qualification (VCQ), within the workplace, a Vocational Related Qualification (VRQ), Life Skills and Employment Rights and Responsibilities at ProCo one day a week.

When the apprentice completes this level 2 apprenticeship they can progress onto a level 3 apprenticeship.

      Our Wigan Skills Centre is located a few minutes walk from Wigan town centre. With excellent transport links the learning centre, on Prescott Street, is easily accessible.

      House in the learning centre is motor vehicle garage, fully-equied with a range of cars, machinery and tools.

      ProCo's brickwork, plastering, plumbing and joinery workshops are also located at the centre.
