Textiles, A Level at Oldham Sixth Form College (OSFC)
Are you excited by fashion and textiles as a tangible art form? Do you love the different qualities which different fabrics and stitches possess and how they can be used for expression? Do you like experimenting with artistic techniques and processes in a very practical way? Are you interested in gaining an appreciation of the work of existing artists and designers?
Textiles A Level at OSFC will suit you if you have an interest in textiles and fashion and want to explore decorative and wearable design, whilst developing your understanding of design skills and making processes.
At OSFC we encourage our students to participate in a range of art and design field trips. These include national visits to galleries in London and Manchester and pre-degree Foundation Shows at Oldham College and Manchester Metropolitan University.
