- Education with Research methods
- Beliefs in Society
- Crime and Deviance with Theory and Methods
Written English is a key skill in Sociology, and is very important for careers in the police, law, education, medicine and social work. Therefore, pupils are required to have a B grade in English Language and a C grade in Mathematics at GCSE. Grade B in a humanities based subject is also desirable.
All units are assessed by written examinations. Assessment within school will take the form of group work, oral presentations, tests and written work.
