Year 12

  • Skill acquisition: how skill is acquired and psychology affects performance;
  • Physical activity and benefits to the individual/society

    Year 13 includes

  • Applied exercise physiology to optimise performance: energy sources and systems
  • Psychological aspects that optimise performance: sports psychology

  • Entry requirements

    To study the full range of AS Level subjects you will need to have achieved an average of 46 points from your GCSE qualifications (mostly B grades +) and, a minimum of B grades in science and/or mathematics should you be applying to study these subjects.
