Course content

Year 1

This is broken down into two coursework projects and an exam with prepared materials. You will study professional documents and how to create them for a real life application. Then you'll be asked to use a variety of research tools to investigate a number of scenarios and produce a report to justify your decisions and recommendations. Finally, the exam allows you to investigate a realistic business and identify how they use ICT in an everyday context.

Year 2

Three pieces of coursework in this year: the first is an interactive presentation aimed at providing support to people working on the theory parts of a driving test. You'll then be redesigning the school's prospectus to a professional standard and working on creating interactive material for real world businesses.
