IT User Skills Level 2 Certificate at Newham College of Further Education

Course description

This course takes 36 weeks to complete and you will attend for 2.5 hours each week. Your work will be continuously assessed as part of your class work and your efforts will contribute towards your final marks at the end of the course.

Entry requirements

No formal qualifications are required although it would be beneficial to have an ITQ User Skills Award at Level 1. Your level of IT skills will be assessed when you apply and the course tutor will advise you on the best level for you.

Future opportunities

This course will give you skills that will support you on a range of vocational courses within your current job, it could also be used as a stepping stone into employment.

    •  Little Ilford Learning Zone is one of Newham College’s local centres, which brings education into the community and makes it more accessible to students that may not enrol for college ordinarily.  The delivery of courses that are made available at this site is managed, by Newham Local Education Authority’s (LEA’s) Community Education and Youth Service. This organisation is an associate faculty of Newham College and it manages a number of sites that are similar to this one, on the college’s behalf. Courses at Little Ilford Learning Zone are offered exclusively to students over 19 years-of-age and enable them to qualify in subjects such as language, ITC and even accounting.
