Diploma in Plastering Level 1 at Ashford College

Course description

A first step into the construction industry, focusing on plastering skills. This course could lead to further development of your skills through an Apprenticeship.

Develop your life skills as you complete practical projects with job knowledge learnt in the classroom to support you.

English and maths are an important part of the course, whether at a functional skills or GCSE level.

You will be assessed by practical assignments and externally set examinations throughout the course.

Supported work experience will be arranged with guidance from your tutor.

Entry requirements

You will need four GCSEs at Grades D-G/3-1, including English and maths at minimum Grade E/2.

Future opportunities

Progress on a Intermediate Apprenticeship in a trowel trade or Level 2 Diploma in Plastering full time.
