Travel and Tourism Level 2 Diploma at Stratford-upon-Avon College

Course description

If you are looking to start a career working within the travel and tourism industry, then what better place could there be than in the world famous market town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

This level 2 course, unlike others, focuses on the cultural and heritage aspects of the industry that are unique to our location and the wider area.

In addition to this you will also explore current trends and developments within the sector from a UK wide, European and global perspective ensuring that you have all the skills and knowledge you need to take those first steps into an exciting industry or progress on to a higher level qualification.

This course combines practical and theoretical aspects to ensure that you are ready to take that next step.

Entry requirements

You will need to have:

  • 2 GCSEs at grade D / grade 3 or above including English Language, or;
  • 2 GCSEs at grade D / grade 3 or above and Level 1 or 2 Functional Skills English, or;
  • Level 1 qualification in a relevant vocational subject and either GCSE English Language at grade D / grade 3 or above or Level 1 or 2 Functional Skills English.

Assessment

You will be assessed in a range of ways that may include the completion of assignments, projects, question papers, presentations, observations and portfolios though out the course.
