Bricklaying Level 2 Diploma at Bury College

Course description

The Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying is designed to develop your skills and knowledge, enabling you to work in the industry as a trainee bricklayer. The qualification teaches you about techniques used in all aspects of basic brickwork and has been developed for delivery in a training environment that reflects real working conditions. Approximately 60% of the course is based in the workshop and 40% is theory and tests that are based on you showing what you can do as an individual through the completion of all the requirements of the qualification. The course comprises: general core units, brickwork specific units, a practical assignment and multiple choice unit end tests. You may also have the opportunity to be involved in external projects which will enhance prospects of employability.
