Rural Craft Professional at Dorset Studio School

Course description

The school will offer both academic and vocational qualifications which will enable students to progress in a variety of directions Post-16.  Academic excellence is important; students will be expected to work hard and long to achieve their goals. Dorset Studio School will deliver this curriculum in a different way for those students that want something different and for those students that want to work in a mature and business-like environment.

 

Course content

This Professional Level 3 Qualification will include:• Outdoor Activity• Subsidiary Diploma in Countryside Management• Science Diploma• BTEC diploma in Art and Design (design crafts)

Assessment

Each professional pathway is enhanced by extensive work based application and industry specific placements. The Extended Project will be graded within this industrial context.
