Health and Social Care (OCR Cambridge Technical) at Hastingsbury Business and Enterprise College

Course description

For each unit of work, you need evidence to prove that you have met all the assessment objectives specified in each unit. This will sometimes mean that you must prove you can do something, e.g. complete records accurately. Sometimes, your evidence must prove that you know or understand something, e.g. ways of providing support to service users.

Introductory Diploma in health and Social Care (1 A level)
To achieve this qualification, candidates must complete a total of six units of work (minimum of 60 credits)

Extended Diploma (3A levels)
To achieve this qualification, candidates must complete a total of 18 units at work (minimum of 180 credits)

Diploma in Health and Social Care (2 A levels)
To achieve this qualification, candidates must complete a total of twelve units of work (minimum of 120 credits)

Entry requirements

Minimum of 5 GCSE passes atA*-C from at least 4 different subjects. Grade C in English Language also suitable for students who have gained a ā€˜Cā€™ at GCSE HSC
