Like any large civilian organisation, we need skilled administrators to manage our people, budgets and countless other resources. The difference is that, as a Business, Administration and Law Apprentice with the Royal Navy, you’ll be part of a team with a vital mission in conflict or peacetime, and your ‘office’ will be the whole world.

Course content

During your Business and Administration Apprenticeship, you’ll get to grips with the whole range of complex but crucial tasks required to keep your ship, submarine or shore base running smoothly, from handling your crewmates’ pay and leave arrangements to managing supplies of food, fuel and ammunition.

Level 3 Apprenticeship: NVQ Level 3

Financial information

Starting salary: £13,377 to £16,681 a year.

You embark on your Royal Navy adventure with ten weeks of basic training at our shore base, HMS Raleigh. You can be sure these 10 weeks will test your mind and body.There will be exams to study for and physical challenges to tackle, but you will also have plenty of opportunities to relax and socialise with your fellow recruits.Not many experiences can match the feeling of marching in your passing-out parade - and the sense of achievement that goes with it.
