French A Level at Stationers Crown Woods Academy

Course description

A student that wants to develop your love of languages and culture. You have an interest in broadening your horizons and a desire to communicate with others and to travel to French speaking countries.

Course content

A successful course in which we study French through a series of topics and authentic French texts. We also use an interactive website on which you can find all the vocabulary you need, lots of exercises based on the skills you need to develop, as well as assessment tasks you can undertake to test your knowledge. The exam is made up of 2 different exams: an oral presentation and a conversation(30%) and the Listening, Reading and Writing exam (70%).

Entry requirements

A minimum grade B in French GCSE.

Future opportunities

Almost anything… entrepreneur, a diplomat, a lawyer, an academic, a journalist, a researcher, work in languages, travel & tourism, fashion, design, teaching, HR or Politics.
