Course description

Then this course is ideal. Designed to give you a solid grounding for a career in the travel and tourism industry this course will prepare you for employment or further study. You will research and learn about worldwide destinations, events and attractions while exploring career opportunities available in a range of different travel and tourism organisations.

Course content

Our students enjoy various topics including cabin crew safety, resort welcome meetings, customer service and designing advertising for tourism holidays. During the course you will learn about the airline and cruise sector, how to plan holidays and trips for different types of customers and research current (and future) popular destinations of the world. You will also get to take part in visits and residential trips to develop your experiences and improve your interview, presentation and communication skills.

– Marketing
– Planning a Residential

You will also study English and maths.

Entry requirements

You need four GCSE’s at grade D or above including English and maths. You’ll also need to be willing to participate in practical activities and volunteering to enhance your customer service skills.
