Bridge to Progression Entry Level 1-3 at Lancaster and Morecambe College

Course description

This is a full time course which helps “bridge the gap” between school and college.

Course content

You will study the following:

• Functional Skills in Maths and English • Skills for Learning and Work • Employability Skills • Vocational Sampling All LMC students will receive tutorial support. 

Entry requirements

You do not need any qualifications to join. You will need a willingness to learn, a commitment to your studies, a satisfactory record of attendance and want to develop your independence and progress onto further higher level courses or employment. 

Assessment

This course is continuously assessed using a range of methods including building a portfolio of evidence, being observed carrying out practical activities and completing assignments.

Financial information

There will be occasional visits during the year. The costs will be minimal. 

Future opportunities

Many students move onto a full time course to gain a vocational qualification and others find employment, or a Traineeship. 

Further information

You will be expected to undertake occasional home study on this course.
