Beauty Therapy Level 2 Diploma at West Cheshire College

Course description

Beauty therapy could be your route into an exciting career, whether it be providing treatments for passengers on a cruise ship or working in beauty therapy salons and spas up and down the country. By choosing this option you will acquire a broad range of skills and knowledge which you can then apply in the College‚Äôs fully-equipped salon. The course will give you a thorough grounding in a wide range of treatments such as facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, eye treatments and make-up.  Underpinning knowledge is given in sessions that include anatomy, health and safety and science.  Learners attend tutorial and English and maths sessions to enhance and broaden their experience.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade D or above including English and Science or successful completion of a Level 1 programme, such as the Beauty Foundation Learning course including English.

Assessment

You will be continually assessed throughout the programme.
