Course description

This course complements History and is often taken by those students who want to complement science or humanities subjects with a social science. Sociology encourages analytical thinking about the nature of society. It is a natural fit for courses and careers in social policy, social work, counselling , teaching, marketing, advertising and business and, of course, degrees in Sociology

Entry requirements

5 A*-C grades including 4 or 5 in Maths and 5 in English Language if part of a Mixed Pathway or 8 A*-C including 4 or 5 in Maths and 5 in English Language if part of a A Level Pathway. B grade or grade 6 in the A level chosen to study.
