Course content

Year 12: AS Level Family and Households: A study of the influence of the mass media upon society Education: Why do girls get higher passes in schools than boys? Sociological Methods: What methods of collecting information do sociologists use?

Entry requirements

Advanced courses usually require a grade C or above in the subjects you wish to study. (Mathematics and Modern Foreign Languages may require a grade B).

Assessment

Year 12: 2 x 1ΒΌ hour examinations (one on Mass Media, one on Education) 1 coursework assignment of 1,200 words.
