Early Years Workforce CACHE Level 3 Diploma at ABC Training London Limited

Course description

This qualification is designed to help learners build the skills and gain knowledge of children from birth to 7 years. This qualification prepares learners for employment in diverse range of job roles and occupational areas and become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.

Course content

- 23 mandatory units
- 486 guided learning hours (GLH) CACHE have structured the units around four themes:
- Theme 1: Health and well-being
- Theme 2: Legislation, frameworks and professional practice
- Theme 3: Play, development and learning for school readiness
- Theme 4: Professional development .

Entry requirements

You should be at least 16 years old and after applying you will have an interview to determine which course is suitable for your needs and abilities.

Assessment

Using a range of methods your tutor or assessor will support you to pass all units and complete 2 longitudinal studies, using a variety of methods e.g. direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task set by CACHE, work products etc.

Future opportunities

The NEW CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (90 credits) or a Foundation Degree.
