Business BTEC National Level 3 Diploma at Queen Elizabeth's School

Course description

The New BTEC Diploma in Business is a practical, work-related course designed to provide students with a broad range of knowledge about the business environment, They use a combination of assessment styles to give students confidence they can succeed in the workplace - and have the study skills to continue learning on higher education courses and throughout their career. The range of vocational assessments – both practical and written – mean students can showcase their achievements to best effect when they take their next step, whether that is applications to higher education courses or potential employers.

BTEC Business students at QE are at the forefront of delivering Enterprise related initiatives. In the past two years, assessed as part of the course, students have organised and delivered Enterprise days to students at Key Stage 4. Employers also play a major part in the course with external speakers visiting and organising study days to assist with the completion of assessments. In the past year we have worked with DEK, Barclays Bank, Cadbury’s and Marwell Zoo.
