Course description

Over  the course of two years you will produce a portfolio of work that will make up 60% of your marks towards your A Level. Throughout the production of the portfolio you will be asked to investigate a variety of themes, techniques and artists from which to produce a unique final outcome. Initially you will explore a range of experimental drawing and recording techniques and processes using 2D and 3D materials on a given theme. As the course progressess you will be expected to make more independent decisions about the themes and focus of your work as your confidence and experience develops.

The remaining 40% of the course will be based on the work produced during the Externally Set Assignment from February onwards in Y13.
