Brickwork Level 3 Diploma at Northumberland College

Course description

This course is for anyone who has a level 2 bricklaying qualification who would like to further develop their skills and knowledge to become a qualified level 3 bricklayer. At Northumberland College experienced bricklayers can complete a fast track diploma framework in order to gain a level 3 status dependant on existing skills and knowledge.

Course content

You will study building methods and construction technology, carrying out structural and decorative brickwork and learn how to repair and maintain masonry structures. Ideal if you would like to furter develop your brickaying skills and knowledge.

Entry requirements

You should have a relevant Level 2 qualification.


Your progress will be assessed through practical and knowledge assignments throughout the course as your skills and knowledge develops.

Future opportunities

After successfully completing the course you could progress onto a level 4 higher education course to further enhance your supervisory and management skills.
