Creative Media Production BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at Milton Keynes College

If yes, then this broad based Media course could be for you. It offers an excellent grounding in a range of disciplines and practices from within the industry, in addition to fostering creative writing and research skills.

*Functional skills qualifications are designed to provide the necessary levels of English, maths and ICT skills needed to ‘function’ in today’s society and workplace. They are a key component of all College programmes.
You will complete at least 1 Functional Skill or a GCSE at an appropriate level as part of your programme based upon your GCSE grades upon entry to the course.
5 GCSEs at grade A-C with a minimum of C or above in English and Maths. Equivalent qualifications in a relevant discipline will be accepted with GCSE English and maths at grade C or above or equivalent.
Mature candidates will be considered on an individual basis.
To progress to Year 2 you will be expected to achieve the Subsidiary Diploma in Year 1.
You will be continually assessed throughout the course through set project work. Functional Skills and GCSEs are assessed by exams and on-line exams and you will be given guidance and support to achieve these.
After successful completion of this course you can progress onto a range of Higher Education opportunities. The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is currently worth 420 UCAS points. Alternatively you may choose to enter employment. Examples of roles include:
