Course description

Sociology is a widely accepted course which combines well with A Level English, History, Economics, Psychology, Politics and Geography. Although it can be combined with any other A level subject.

The course is split into the following modules:

  • Education
  • Sociological Methods
  • Beliefs in Society
  • Theory and Methods
  • Crime and Deviance

There are also central themes running through the whole course which are:

  • Sociological Perspectives
  • Concepts
  • Theories and Research Methods
