From motor vehicle to mechanical engineering, electrical to manufacturing, welding to fabrication, each area of engineering is unique in that it’s challenging, rewarding and in demand. Our modern equipment includes an automated process control area and Engineering Centre of Excellence. Course content

Building on from the Level 1 course, students will gain further knowledge and competence of motor vehicle systems.

Entry requirements

•Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 1

•Or a good standard of education and some experience of working on motor vehicles

•You will be required to successfully complete an interview with a course tutor


You will be assessed by practical activities and six externally set exams throughout the course in theory and practical applications covered.
