The skills developed during the course enable students to move into a wide range of occupations, including marketing and town planning. Geography graduates are highly employable and many now specialise in growth areas such as environmental and transport management.
Geography combines well with many other subjects, but there are particularly strong links with Economics, Biology and History. Many students also choose to broaden their study base by choosing to study Geography to complement studies in Mathematics, English and Modern Languages.
