Bricklaying Level 2/3 Apprenticeship at Lambeth College

Course description

The Intermediate Level 2 Bricklaying Apprenticeship is designed to develop your skills in brickwork and construction. It includes general workplace safety, moving and handling resources, erecting masonry structures, setting out masonry structures, erecting
masonry cladding, block work and drainage. 
The Advanced Level 3 Bricklaying Apprenticeship is aimed to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you are able to work at a supervisory level. 
Please note: You must be employed and working a minimum of 30 hours a week in order to apply for an apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

Entry age: 16+.

All candidates need to have attained employment, and be working for a minimum of 30 hours per week under a contract of employment.

There is a minimum literacy and numeracy requirement which will be assessed prior to enrolment.

An Employer Agreement is needed as this is a work-based qualification.

Your offer is also subject to a successful interview.

Entry Criteria:

Level 3 – 5 GCSE qualifications at grades A* to D including English and Maths or
have completed an intermediate apprenticeship
Level 2 – 3 GCSE qualifications at grades E or above including English and Maths
