Advanced Apprenticeship in Professional Cookery (Patisserie and Confectionary) at Norfolk Training Services

Course description

At Level 3, the City & Guilds Diploma in Hospitality aims to build on or recognise good practice in hospitality to support their technical expertise in any job role, acknowledging the importance of effective communication and service delivery.

Aimed at

  • Experienced Apprentices who have attained an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Professional Cookery (Patisserie and Confectionary)

Course content

Once on programme with NTS, an assessor will be assigned to each learner. The assessor will carry out an induction to the course and pre arrange visits for approximately every 4 to 6 weeks, on these visits the assessor will assess learners carrying out practical tasks that they would complete in their day to day job role, the assessor will also assess knowledge reports and case studies that learners have completed and carry out discussions, questions and witness testimonies, they will also set targets for the next meeting.
