Psychology AQA Advanced GCE at Chiswick School

Course description

In Year 12 you will study: Paper 1 Social Influence, Memory and Attachment and Paper 2 Approaches in Psychology, Psychopathology and Research methods . In Year 13 you will study for three exams: Social Influence, Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology; Approaches in Psychology, Biopsychology, Resarch Methods; and Issues and Debates in Psychology, Cognition and Development, Schizophrenia Agression Methods.

Entry requirements

5 A*-C grades including 5 in Maths and English Language if part of a Mixed Pathway or 8 A*-C including 5 in Maths and English Language if part of a A Level Pathway. B grade or grade 6 in the A level chosen to study.

Future opportunities

Psychology is seen as a core A Level for potential careers including Psychologist, Health Worker, Social Worker, Law, Teaching, Sports, Journalism, Counselling and Research.
